Harry Potter and Hermione Granger and what could have been

While they may not have ended up together in the series, Harry Potter and Hermione Granger had potential. So here’s a look at what could have been with them.

Harry Potter and Hermione Granger could have easily been a couple in the Potter series. They were close, they understood each other, and they loved and supported one another throughout a lot of trials and tribulations. So what could it have been like if they did end up married?

Honestly, their working relationship probably would be the same as it is in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. They probably would still be an auror and the Minister or Magic respectively and they’d definitely remain professional at work, Hermione wouldn’t have had it any other way.

But maybe it is just because I personally don’t see Ron or Ginny understanding their partners that well but I think with Hermione and Harry would just have a balance to their relationship that we’re missing in the series. They’re seen as equals to one another in a lot of ways and to have them be a romantic pairing could have worked to show the level of respect that Harry has for Hermione.

Still, we can dream about this lovely couple. Harry clearly ended up with Ginny and Hermione married Ron. But we can think about the relationship that could have been had we let Hermione Granger and Harry Potter fall in love with each other while they were at Hogwarts with one another.
