Some songs come out way before the summer, but are still picking up steam by the time the warm months come along. That was definitely the case with “The Middle” by Zedd, Maren Morris, and Grey.

“The Middle” became one of those songs that you literally heard everywhere. It was on the radio, it played in stores, in bars, and even in TV commercials. It was non-stop, and that is the definite sign of a “song of the summer” if there ever was one. The EDM collab was simple and fun, but most importantly, it was catchy.
