Tony Stark really does talk more than any of the other Avengers

One Reddit user has discovered that Tony Stark is the most talkative Avenger, and we are not really surprised by this information.

Many of us here are big fans of Tony Stark, and this character is many things. What he is not, however, is quiet or shy. For fans of the MCU, it is pretty clear that Tony Stark likes to talk a lot. He often has a lot to say and uses talking as a defense mechanism to mask his true emotions often rambling a bit. He is smart and quick-witted and often sarcastic, and we love him for it.

So, it doesn’t come as a big surprise that Tony Stark is the most talkative of the Avengers. A Reddit user compiled data comparing the different characters in the film and how much they speak, and Tony pulls out ahead by quite a margin.

In the chart, the Redditor counts up the lines of dialogue that the six original Avengers say on screen. This chart looks at four movies: The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Infinity War.

Tony Stark has the number one spot for overall lines spoken, and he also talks more than the other Avengers in every single movie. Even in Captain America: Civil War, which was the last movie in the Captain America trilogy, Iron Man has more dialogue than Cap. This is a bit upsetting to some fans who feel like Steve Rogers should have been more of the focus of his third movie, but it does make sense as Tony is a more talkative character than Steve.

Steve Rogers, however, does take the second place spot for most dialogue. Natasha Romanoff takes third place. Bruce Banner is fourth, and then Thor, and then Hawkeye.
