PBS is getting ready for its fall kick-off of The Great America Read. 100 books were named as contenders but only one can walk away as the winner. Don’t miss out on all the action tonight, by watching live online.
Meredith Vieira will be our host as the search for America’s best-loved novel continues. Voting by the public has been ongoing for a long time now, and we have slowly been getting an idea of who are inching their way closer to taking the crown.

We recently learned who the top 40 book titles where. Although we couldn’t get the specific order, only who was in the top 40, we did learn that Harry Potter was listed. Which was great news for all us Potterheads.

Going up against some stiff competition, Harry Potter is facing off against books like, The Great Gatsby, The DaVinci Code, The Handsmaid Tale, etc. So, if you want to see your beloved Wizarding World win, you need to cast a vote.
Tonight, will be when the toll-free voting option becomes open. Currently, you can vote for your favorite book either online or via text, but during tonight’s program on PBS, the voting phones lines will be opened.
