Mayans M.C. season 1 episode 2 preview: EZ digs himself a deeper grave

This week on Mayans M.C., EZ struggles to balance his undercover work with his personal life, and he leaves a trail of bodies in his wake.

EZ (J.D. Pardo) is digging himself a deeper grave in the latest preview for this week’s episode of Mayans.

Not only is the fresh-from-prison prospect getting a blood-soaked initiation into his brother’s biker gang, he’s also finding it difficult to keep his undercover identity a secret from those closest to him. This double life the poor guy’s leading — pretending to be all in for the club while narcing on cartel boss Galindo — is starting to wear thin.

Since this is a Kurt Sutter series we’re talking about, and because we’re only in the second episode of the season, things will only get tougher for EZ and his family, especially now that the rebels across the border are putting their own plans into motion.

The new prospect is tough, though. In the preview, EZ can be heard telling his pops that he can handle the drugs, the guns, and the violence of the gang, but one thing he isn’t prepared to risk is his father’s safety. Any Edward James Olmos fans should be pretty worried right about now.

And if the pressure from the feds isn’t enough action for you, the club has been tasked with finding Galindo’s son, who was kidnapped at gunpoint by a group of rebels last week. Unfortunately for every other dealer on this side of the border, that means guns will be blazing and heads are about to roll.

Mayans M.C. airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on FX. Stay tuned for all the latest from Culturess on the show, including recaps, speculation, and more.
