Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington always wanted to be Harry Potter

During the Toronto International Film Festival, Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington confessed that he has always wanted to be Harry Potter.
Kit Harrington, a.k.a Jon Snow, could technically have a long list of titles after his name in Game of Thrones, maybe even longer than Daenerys. However, the ever-humble Jon Snow prefers to go around as King of North and nothing more, for now anyway. He may get more titles one day and have them proclaimed for all to hear, we will have to see how season 8 turns out. One title he will never have, even though Kit Harrington would love to have it, is The Boy Who Lived, just like Harry Potter
While attending the Toronto International Film Festival, Kit Harrington spoke to both PEOPLE and EW about The Death and Life of John F. Donovan. Eventually, the focus shifted to Game of Thrones and how the series is preparing to end.

Harrington has officially finished filming the final season now but confessed he is still on call in case any reshoots are required for the HBO series.
This played into a fun conversation over how he is unable to cut iconic Jon Snow hair until he gets the official odd from production.
While talking about the film he was promoting in Toronto the conversation then turned a corner into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Harrington confessed how he always wanted to be a part of Harry Potter and even be The Boy Who Lived.
Now Harry Potter is not being remade anytime soon, but if it was, I think Harrington would play a good Sirius Black, especially with all that shabby hair that he is forbidden from cutting.
You never know though, Fantastic Beasts has several more movies to make, maybe he will show up in one of them one day. Then we could call him, “Jon Snow, King of the North, Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch, …………, Knower of Nothing, and Big Hairy Magical Wizard.” or if Davos got his way, “This is Jon Snow, he’s a Wizard.”
