This new BossLogic fanart reminds us of all the characters we lost in Avengers: Infinity War and has us in our sad feels once again.

When it comes to fan artists, we all have our favorites. There are so many talented artists out there who are always there to help us fulfill our wishes when we don’t get to see them play out on screen. Some art is romantic, some fluffy and cute, and other pieces are tragic and pull at our heartstrings.

When it comes to making fan art of some of our favorite theories and headcanons, BossLogic is often there for us. From Captain Marvel art to The Witcher, BossLogic art is often impressive to look at. Even the Russo brothers are fans, and his artwork has gathered quite the following.

Recently, a before and after Avengers fan art was posted to his Twitter. The artwork is done in the style of The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci and reminds us all just how many favorite characters we have lost. The piece is called The Last Shawarma and features the entire cast from Avengers: Infinity War.

The before the snap artwork features all of the characters together at the table or in the background in the room. For the most part, the characters look content and happy, and they are all together. The after artwork shows empty chairs and heartbroken faces.

Tony Stark sits in the middle of both scenes, and, in the after piece, has his face in his hand, clearly consumed by guilt and grief. The rest of the survivors are also portrayed in various grieving poses, such as Thor who is hunched over and covered by his blanket while Stan Lee offers him a drink. Steve Rogers looks almost disassociated from what is going on, and Okoye stands in the background with her eyes closed.

Other details in the background remind us that the world at large is in chaos and tragedy. The TVs read “no signal found,” and the lights are off. There are many details in the art, and it is worth looking at the close-ups a few times to take it all in.

While we love this beautiful artwork, it also reminds us of our sad feels over all our favorites who have died or been snapped. We like the before version better, and hope that after Avengers 4,  everyone will be alive and able to go to get shawarma together. While that might not be the most likely outcome, we don’t want to think about anything else.
