Parks and Recreation

Ever since the 2016 election, fans have been asking for the return of Parks and Recreation. While the finale wrapped up everyone’s storylines pretty well, we can now have an alternate universe because … just look at us, America. Look at where we are.

There is something so heartwarming and real about Parks and Rec. Every character has something for us to enjoy. Sometimes, we even feel bad for Larry/Jerry/Terry/Garry. Though it struggled in the ratings throughout most of its run on television, it ended on a high note and is to this day a beloved comedy series.

Ben and Leslie helped to teach us what a healthy relationship could be on-screen, April and Andy were an instance of young love that actually worked out, and Tom and Donna were two friends who would do anything for each other. And the entire Parks department was honestly a funny family we’d want to hang out with again and again.
