Friends

There’s a reason that Friends is constantly being streamed on Netflix: We all want to go back to hanging out with Chandler, Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey, and Ross. It taught us that friendship can be stronger than family and that the hijinks you get into with your friends have a lasting memory.

Sure, the characters are out there, to put it mildly, but there is a real truth behind a lot of the zaniness of the show that had us coming back week after week to see what they would do. As the characters got older, so did the audience, watching as they all fell in love and had families of their own.

Talks of a reunion have been happening since the show first ended in 2004 but we’ve yet to see it come to life. Maybe finishing the show and leaving those friends behind is for the best, because we don’t want to ruin how perfect Friends truly was. There wasn’t a lull or a bad season, just constant fun and laughter.

Even so, we miss being able to hang out in the apartment with our friends. Maybe we’re all Joey, worried our friends are going to leave us but still, we miss the joy that Friends brought to our television sets.
