Ryan Murphy posted a set photo of Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott on Instagram as he teases the upcoming season of AHS: Apocalypse.

Just last week, Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott were confirmed to be returning for the upcoming season of American Horror Story. The season, subtitled Apocalypse, is going to be a crossover between Murder House and Coven and is set to start on Sept. 12.

This week, Ryan Murphy brought fans a sneak peek of the upcoming season on Instagram. He posted a picture of both Britton and McDermott on set and standing together in the Murder House itself from season 1, as they will be reprising their roles as Ben and Vivien Harmon.

Check it out below:

Murphy posted the pic and said, “Connie and Dylan. The Harmon’s [sic] in their forever AHS home…Murder House.”

This is the second preview Murphy has posted on his Instagram page, as the first features three characters from Coven.

With the upcoming season set to start so soon, excitement over the new season is ramping up. Murder House and Coven are definitely two of the more talked about and iconic seasons from the series, so seeing the two come together and with such an impressive cast list is sure to be entertaining, to say the least.

Many favorite characters will be returning to the screen including Stevie Nicks herself. Taissa Farmiga, who played Violet Harmon in Murder House and Zoe Benson in Coven, will also be returning to the series. However, many other actors are confirmed to be playing more than one role in Apocalypse. We can’t wait to see how it all plays out.
