Lee Pace gives us a quick glimpse into his Captain Marvel return
Lee Pace is returning to the MCU to reprise his role as Ronan the Accuser in Captain Marvel. He took to Twitter to show his excitement about the film.
While it appears that Lee Pace has been on vacation recently after his successful run on Broadway in Angels in America, he took time out of his life to promote the next movie he is going to be appearing in, the highly anticipated Captain Marvel.
Pace posted on Twitter about the film where he shared a video of himself enjoying his vacation. He doesn’t say anything in the video, but he is wearing a hat that had many fans excited. The Captain Marvel logo is featured obviously on the back of his hat, and her suit symbol can also be seen on the front. This hat looks to be some sort of gift to the cast and crew.
According to a fan on Twitter, it looks as if Pace is on vacation near Pont du Gard in Southern France, although this has not been confirmed.
Pace will be returning to the role of Ronan the Accuser, a role he first took on in Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014. Ronan was the main antagonist in this film, and, while not much is known about how his character will tie into Captain Marvel, fans are speculating, of course. As Captain Marvel is the next Marvel movie to be realized, and the one released directly before Avengers 4, fans are hurrying to guess what will happen in both of these films.
Pace told New York Live earlier this year, “I know nothing. I don’t know anything. I wish I could tell you all the secrets, but I don’t know any secrets! I’m excited to be back.
While the plot of Captain Marvel is being kept under wraps, it is likely that the film will tie in many threads of other Marvel movies. Fans are excited to see how things will all play out. It will be interesting to see how they develop Pace’s character and if they can make Ronan the Accuser a villain worthy of facing Carol Danvers.
Do you have any theories about Pace’s character in Captain Marvel? What would you like to see happen?
