Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery adds Curse-Breakers event for limited time

If you love to get exclusive new outfits and take part in fun limited events, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery has another one available now. It’s time to take on the Curse-Breakers event.

There’s a new exclusive costume to collect in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. Jam City has offered the limited time event called the Curse-Breakers and you’ll get a costume at the end of it.

Like other limited events, you’ll need to collect stars and crests to work your way up to the new outfit. You also only have a limited time to do it. To collect the crests, you need to get full marks in your classes and it takes 45 crests to get the limited Curse-Breaker outfit.

Collecting the crests

You’ll want to get started on this right now. The great news is there are a few ways to earn the crests through your classes and one of the easiest ways is to replay old classes if you want.

But if you want something new, Jam City has added two new chapters to the Year 4 story. And if you haven’t completed the story yet, you can always do the other classes you still need to complete. Year 4, Chapters 15 and 16 offer new Potions and Charms classes and so much more.

There is a downside. You need 14 stars to be able to complete each of the classes entirely. However, this is all part of the fun challenge, right?

What do you get when you complete the Curse-Breakers event?

You’ll get your hands on an exclusive outfit that looks like the one Madame Rakepick wears. This is a character introduced in the game and has been one that many Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery fans have enjoyed interacting with and learning about.

Overall, the event is fun for a limited-time offer. You can go right back to the story afterwards.
