“Go To Town” – Doja Cat

Doja Cat has gotten a lot of attention lately for her music video “Mooo!” with lyrics like “I’m not a cat, I don’t say meow.” That video may come off as more of a joke, but Doja Cat does not play when it comes to her style in other music videos!

The singer barely gives us a chance to breathe in the music video for her single “Go To Town.” Honestly, we don’t even know where to begin. The video starts with a shot of her in a full latex cat mask, a spiked choker, a bra, a high-waisted latex skirt, and some knee-high boots. Not many people can work latex (or a cat mask, for that matter) without looking like a weirdo, but Doja is selling this look completely.

And there’s plenty more latex where that came from. Sporting a curly, seafoam green updo, Doja trades in the cat outfit for a long sleeve pink latex bodysuit while she eats some cake with her hands, and later rolls around on the carpet in a white latex bodysuit and some seriously killer pink platforms.

She doesn’t only wear latex in the “Go To Town” video though. In one scene, she has a long, wild mane of orange hair, a lacy white lingerie set, and a fur-trimmed sheer robe that looks fit for a queen. The best part of the look though is definitely the shoes: Lucite heels with a fur pompom, looking like something that a Spice Girl would probably rock.

The entire aesthetic of this music video is flawless, with a flurry of pastel pinks, greens, and blues, and whoever is styling Doja Cat needs a raise after this project. Let’s hope for more videos like this, and less like “Mooo!” Just kidding: “Mooo!” is flawless, too.
