“Be Careful” – Cardi B

You might be sick of us talking about Cardi B by now, but we’re not sick of talking about her, so you’ll have to deal with it! (This is the last entry about her, we promise.)

Cardi has proved herself to be a force to be reckoned with in the rap game, and it looks like her fashion game is pretty strong too. In the music video for “Be Careful,” Cardi is rapping about her unfaithful man at their wedding in a small church in the middle of the desert. It may be a simple church in the middle of nowhere, but Cardi’s dress is anything but plain.

She’s wearing a beautiful Christian Siriano wedding gown, draped with jewels and huge earrings, and she tops the look off with a sleek blonde hairstyle that we’re not used to seeing from the rapper. The gown isn’t only beautiful, but it also helped shield the rapper’s baby bump!

Layer in the video, the lighting switches to a darker hue, and Cardi arrives back at the same church. This time, though, it’s not her wedding. It’s her cheating man’s funeral. She struts into that church in funeral-appropriate black, velvet gloves, and with a huge hat and crystal-embellished veil. Her red hair is tied back in a ponytail, that’s attached by interlocking silver hoops. It’s just a simple funeral look, obviously.

The moral of the story is, don’t cross Cardi B, because you will end up dead, and she will strut into your funeral looking like a high-fashion goddess.
