The ending to Saved By the Bell is a little confusing because the show had many incarnations after the original series. There were the college years before, finally, Zack and Kelly were on their way to get married in Las Vegas with their friends and teachers.

Saved By the Bell was a hilarious sitcom that also knew what messages to send to their audience. A really good example is Jessie Spano. So determined to be the best she could be, there was a famous storyline where she took too many pills to keep herself focused with high energy for her work.

She breaks down and all her friends are there for her. Maybe the point of the show was to have each other’s backs even when high school gets you down but, the finale was sad because it was the end of our friendships with Zack, Kelly, Jessie, A.C, Lisa, and Screech.

Is it weird for their high school teachers to come to a wedding? Sort of. But that was what Saved By the Bell was all about. Most people might not be that close with their teachers, but at Bayside High School, that’s was what made us want to be friends with these kids and their teachers in the first place.
