Timon and Pumbaa grub brownies

If The Lion King is on your agenda for movie night, you’ll want some Timon- and Pumba-worthy grub to snack on. How else will you fit in during the “Hakuna Matata” sequence? Luckily, thanks to these delicious grub brownies, you won’t need to actually eat anything slimy.

In fact, if you follow the instructions in the recipe, these gooey brownies will look like the most delicious mud you’ve ever seen. The crushed Oreo cookies and gummy worms are what really make this snack, but you can get as creative as you want when it comes to toppings. We’re sure there are other bug-themed candies out there!

"Brownie recipe Pre heat oven to 190 C/375 F 1 box of brownie mix 3 x eggs 200 grams of soft butter Mix all ingredients together and place in greased baking tray and cook for 30-40 mintues. When cooked make wholes in the brownies for your frosting and leave to cool. Frosting recipe 250 grams of soft butter 250 grams of icing/powdered sugar 80 grams of coco powder 1 tbsp of milk Mix all ingredients together with wooden spoon or electric whisk. When fully combines place in fridge till brownies are chilled. Spoon frosting on top of brownies and fill in holes as well. Decoration 250 grams of chocolate cookie sandwiches 1 x pack of gummy worms or bugs Blitz cookie sandwiches in food processor and sprinkle on top of iced brownies. Then decorate with gummy worms or bugs and leave to chill till frosting has set and then serve"
