Patton Oswalt

There is an entire episode of Parks and Recreation where Patton Oswalt goes on a diatribe about Star Wars for so long and they didn’t stop him.  It wasn’t scripted and they just let him rant about the extended universe and anything he wanted to say as his character was filibustering using his knowledge of the series.

So if you were worried that Patton Oswalt wasn’t a nerd, don’t be! He clearly loves it very much and willingly ranted on and on without stopping because he loves it so much. And can you blame him? If your job was just to talk about Star Wars uninhibited, you’d probably talk for forever too.

Then again, Patton just seems to embrace his nerdiness and not care what people say about it. Whether it is openly ranting about Star Wars on Parks and Recreation or going onto Twitter to make a joke all of us nerds will laugh at, Patton is always ready and willing to talk all things nerdy and that’s one of the reasons we love him. He doesn’t shy away from anything and it is relatable.

So maybe we want a whole channel where Patton Oswalt just talks about Star Wars for hours on end to entertain us. Can we get that, please?
