NEW YORK, NY – OCTOBER 07: Actor Daniel Craig speaks onstage during The New Yorker Festival 2016 – Daniel Craig Talks With Nicholas Schmidle at MasterCard Stage at SVA Theatre on October 7, 2016 in New York City. (Photo by Ilya S. Savenok/Getty Images for The New Yorker)

Daniel Craig

One of the best secret cameos of recent times is Daniel Craig wearing a Storm Trooper costume just so he could be in Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens while he was filming Skyfall nearby. Perks of being a celebrity right? You can just beg to let them cast you as an extra in your favorite franchise so that you have your dreams come true.

If you didn’t know, Daniel plays one of the Storm Troopers from the scene when Rey is being tortured by Kylo Ren on his ship. So like not just a random scene, he ended up getting to be in one of the most important scenes in The Force Awakens because he likes Star Wars.

It’s weird to think of James Bond being super into the series but here we are and honestly, it makes Daniel Craig a whole lot better. The fact that he willingly went to work as a glorified extra just to be a Storm Trooper? Which of us Star Wars fans wouldn’t do that?

It just is lucky because he is already a celebrity so he gets to be able to have those opportunities when the rest of us mortals have to beg.
