Jamie Parker attended a Harry Potter birthday party at Cursed Child

When the staff at Harry Potter and the Cursed Child threw a party in honor of the Boy Who Lived’s birthday, they didn’t expect Jamie Parker to show up.

Jamie Parker is currently starring as Harry Potter in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway. While the staff of the theater obviously love the show, they’re also fans of the series as well!

Rachael Bechtel (a friend of mine who works at the theater) helped throw a party for Harry Potter for his birthday. Since the show had an off day on Harry’s actual birthday, they celebrated on August 1!

To the surprise of everyone there, not only was it a fun time to celebrate the character we love so much but also Harry himself showed up!

Jamie Parker stopped by to wish his alter ego a happy birthday and get one of the wonderful gifts the staff set out for the party. Truly, it is just very sweet to see how much Jamie clearly cares about this show and, more specifically, this character.

We all love Harry and to see someone who is portraying him having such a wonderful reaction to something like this makes us fans know that Harry is in good hands with Jamie. The show is currently running on Broadway and on the West End. With sold out shows regularly, it is one of the hottest tickets on Broadway.

And understandably so. Everyone wants to see their favorite character once more, and the stage magic is phenomenal!

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is currently on Broadway. It is an amazing show and one you should definitely see if you have the chance!
