LEGO characters soar into the sky with new in-flight safety video for Turkish Airlines

Do your eyes glaze over whenever those flight safety procedures come on before take-off? Well, LEGO and Turkish Airlines are about to change that.

Before Emmet (Chris Pratt) and Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks) return for more crazy fun and adventure in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part early next year, the gang took a side job during their time off. The LEGO crew has put together a funny yet informative safety video for Turkish Airlines.

Pretty random, right? Then again, it is a pretty brilliant way to advertise and get fans excited about the upcoming sequel.

The safety video walks you through the do’s and don’ts of flying, and along the way, you’re treated to a handful of familiar and amusing cameos, like Lloyd and Garmadon from The LEGO Ninjago Movie as well as Batman, Robin, and Joker from The LEGO Batman Movie.

And of course, a LEGO safety video would not be complete without a song and dance number, something Batman was totally not okay with, since he didn’t want the song to get stuck in his head. Then again, he might have a point. After all, “Everything is Awesome” from the first LEGO movie is still a catchy tune four years later.

As for the sequel itself, new details were unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con last month, like the fact that Chris Pratt will be voicing an additional character named Rex Dangervest and how the movie will be combining the wild imaginations of the young human character Finn and his adorable baby sister.
