25 of TV’s best (and worst) on again off again couples

Veronica and Logan – Veronica Mars
Their love story: Logan (Jason Dohring) and Veronica (Kristen Bell) didn’t start out as heart-eyed emojis for one another. In fact, for most of season 1, they were sworn enemies. After finding themselves on opposite sides of the murder of V’s best friend and Logan’s girlfriend at the time, they began to lash out at each other. Logan got kinda creepy, in fact, and he made it really hard for us root for him as a serious love interest for our beloved heroine.
The animosity turned to sexual tension after a fateful night when they fell into each other’s arms. From there, they were in and out of love for most of the series. They would break up, date someone else, get wildly jealous, act out, and then reconcile. This went on right up until the series ended.
Did they or didn’t they: Fans of the show know that it ended with Veronica dating someone else and Logan pining, heartsick, from the sidelines. Fast-forward to the 2014 movie, and we get to see a rekindled Veronica and Logan. Then came the 2019 Hulu revival which we still wish we could forget, due to the way in which it ended Logan’s storyline…
