Award-winning costume designer Michele Clapton may very well have created the iconic look for Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again with those ruffled bell-bottom jeans. For a modern take on the look, we’re into these bell bottom pants that reveal some skin with a split front.

The title song “Mamma Mia” was sung in the original movie when Donna’s three former flames arrived to the island (played by Stellan Skarsgård, Colin Firth, and Pierce Brosnan). If you’ll recall (or simply haven’t seen it), Donna’s daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) invites the three men there for her wedding, and to hopefully figure out which is her father. In Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, we get a more suitable performance. The younger versions of Rosie and Tanya join Young Donna in Greece. When Donna finds out that Sam (Brosnan) is already engaged to another woman and leaving, she is heartbroken. Luckily her friends are there, and they basically get the band back together. Formed in college as Donna and the Dynamos, the trio ends up singing ABBA’s “Mamma Mia” in a taverna.

Embrace this ’70s look, and turn a ton of heads, with these bell-bottom pants.
