Hell or High Water

Our beloved Steve Trevor has been in quite the array of movies. One of Hollywood’s hottest Chrises, Chris Pine starred in 2016’s Hell or High Water. A movie about the struggles of the lower class men of Texas, it brought the Western genre back into our lives in a new and inventive way.

Starring Chris Pine, Ben Foster, and Jeff Bridges, it was full of twists and heartache while also showing the love between two brothers in an interesting way. Most movies don’t expand upon the love between brothers. If anything, sisters are shown as sharing their love more than brothers usually do. That’s just one of the reasons the film stands out, though.

A typical Western bank robbery movie, the modern setting makes for an interesting twist and provides quite the storyline. It is suspenseful, yet still fun, and it’s definitely a movie you’ll want to see if you loved Pine in Wonder Woman.

He has plenty of movies to tackle but this may be his best role outside of Steve Trevor and Captain James T. Kirk in the Star Trek franchise. Pine is one of the best out there and his work is definitely something every DCEU fan should check out!
