When it comes to animation, Pixar is the best of the best. We’re here to break down their amazing sequels, all to see who comes out on top.

Disney has been making everyone’s childhood better since 1937, when they released their first full-length feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. After years of releasing timeless classics, the Walt Disney company kept up with the times and continued to be a pioneering force in animation. With the launch of Pixar Animation Studios, Disney managed to release the first ever fully computer-animated feature film, Toy Story, in 1995, and as they say, the rest is history.

Pixar has continued releasing great, computer-animated movies ever since, including Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc., Cars, and more recently, Inside Out. Now more than 23 years later, they not only have an impressive roster of films but also a number of sequels to their popular films too.

Now, we all know that sometimes a sequel totally pales in comparison to the original. But in some cases, the movies just get better and better as the franchise goes on. It’s a rare occurrence, but if anyone could do it, it would be Pixar.

They haven’t all been perfect, though. So let’s take a look at the handful of sequels from Pixar, ranked from worst to best.
