Come the summer’s end, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will have gone through several upgrades. Perfect for everyone who once again didn’t get their letter from Hogwarts.
Every year, every summer, comes the time where we have to accept that once again out letter from Hogwarts is not coming. It doesn’t really matter how old we get either, it’s still a blow to the gut not to see our feathery friend arrive with our acceptance letter. But, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is making it much easier to deal with this year.
Going through a bit of an upgrade, the park at Universal Studios Hollywood has gone an added some new features to the park; starting with, Butterbeer ice cream. Perfect for those sweltering hot days at the park, it’s the perfect delicious treat to have while visiting.

Other new additions include the launch of spell casting locations in Hogsmeade. Two of these locations have been added; in each location you will use interactive wands which will put your magical skills to the test. News spells have also been added to the interactive wands.
New, high end replica costumes are now available as well. You can get Snape’s famous billowing jet black robes and Hermione’s famous Yule Ball gown as well.

Last but not least, the Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts are back. The light show, which lasts for five minutes, will be on display several times during the night between August 19 all the way through to September 3.
