25 Game of Thrones characters that bring more fire than ice

Renly Baratheon

Renly Baratheon is hands down the hottest Baratheon. There is no doubt about it. The younger brother to both Robert and Stannis, he just wants to love his lover, Loras Tyrell. But he has to hide his love for him. He is cute, willing to put everything on the line, and, unfortunately, gone too soon.

Maybe it’s because his brothers are so not thirstworthy, but Renly is like a breath of fresh air. Wearing a cute little antler crown, Renly is just one of those characters on Game of Thrones whom you want to protect and make sure they have all the happiness in the world.

That being said, he totally doesn’t have that kind of luck on the show. He ends up being killed, quite brutally, and he doesn’t get to be happy because his love of men isn’t allowed since he must be a king (and thus has to have heirs).

Poor Renly can’t be happy and live his life. Honestly, his entire life is just a mess and terribly depressing, but when isn’t that the Game of Thrones way?

Too bad we can’t just get a weekly dosage of Renly Baratheon though. That smile would definitely win our race for the Iron Throne.
