Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Year 4, Chapter 6 brings the centaur duel. Just how can you beat this creature to move on?
The centaur duel is an area that many Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery fans are stumbling on. The duel is similar to others, in the sense that you use Aggressive, Defensive, and Sneaky stances in a Rock, Paper, Scissors type game. Now it’s time to get the secrets to beat the centaur to be able to move on. While there is an element of luck, there’s also an element of strategy.
Torvus the Centaur comes up in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Year 4, Chapter 6. While exploring the Forbidden Forest, you’ll come up against one of the hardest challenges in the game so far. That makes sense since you’re now Year 4 students and will have learned new spells and techniques.

Go in with the right attributes
Before you even start the duel, you’ll want to make sure you have the right attributes to play against Torvus and stand a good chance of winning. If you’re below a level 20, considering leveling up a little more. You want to attend as many classes as possible. You can build up the attribute points through your classes, where the duels and dialogue will help you.
Going in with low attributes will lead to losing in most cases. You may just be lucky, but the duel will go on longer than you’d like.

Using the right stances
Like many challenges before, Torvus will use attacks that deal damage over a period of time. You’ll need to heal regularly with the WIggenwald Potion and you may need Episkey for a medium heal if your health gets on the low side. You can use both with the Defensive stance and you’ll need to use this stance regularly, as Torvus uses the Aggressive stance more often than not.

Torvus also likes the Sneaky stance now and then. Sometimes he’ll use Defensive, but not often.
Defensive is a good option to counter the Aggressive, while Aggressive is a good one to beat the Sneaky and tie with the Aggressive. If you use Aggressive when Torvus uses the Sneaky stance, use Depulso straight after to deal as much damage as possible. Don’t bother with the spells that offer damage over time, as they’re a waste of your energy and you run the risk of a longer duel!
It’s not going to be an easy duel in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery but it is a fun one. Go in with the right attributes and you’ll find it much easier to defeat Torvus the centaur.
