Would Harry and James Potter have fought like Harry and Albus do?

Harry Potter has quite the relationship with his son but would he have fought with James Potter the way that Albus fights with him in Cursed Child?

James Potter really didn’t have that much of a chance to have a relationship with his son. He died before Harry really became the boy we saw when he emerged from under the stairs. That being said, what would their relationship have been like if he had survived?

We know from Harry Potter and the Cursed Child that Harry and his son have quite the fighting relationship. Or at least that’s how he and Albus react together but Harry and his son, James Sirius, seem to have a find relationship.

From what we know of James Potter, Harry is very much like him. He is temperamental, determined, and always read to smile with his friends. Albus, as much as Harry doesn’t see it, is very much like Harry.

So would Harry’s own relationship with his father be the same? That being said, Harry probably wouldn’t be famous if James was still around so the ‘ego’ that Albus so often thinks Harry has would probably not exist.

What is interesting about the series is that there is so much that gets left unsaid, especially between the male characters. They just want to save the world and don’t care so much about expressing their emotions until after they all scream and fight with each other. Case in point: Ron and Harry.

Next: Lily Potter: The beauty that the series could have had with more of Lily

It would have been nice to see James and Harry interact, especially since there was a bit of a chance in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child but then we kind of got what would probably be their relationship with Albus and Harry.
