Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (Warwick Davis)

Warwick Davis is one of those actors that you definitely have seen in movies. In fact, if you’ve watched a Star Wars movie (specifically Return of the Jedi), you then saw a very young Warwick playing an ewok.

That being said, some of his best work is in the Harry Potter series. He played Professor Flitwick as well as Griphook in the series. But watching him teach charms to the young students of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone helped to set the tone for the movies.

We went into this series having read the book and to see it played before us on screen helped make the magic that much more real. And Warwick was part of that. We understood that it wasn’t real and that the magic was just in the movie but still, it was a world we wanted to be in.

What’s lovely about Warwick Davis is that he understands the dedication these fans have to the series they love (that’s why he keeps coming back to Star Wars). So he’s always willing to be open and talk about whatever series means the most to those near him. It’s sweet and watching him in Harry Potter is magical all on its own.
