The Muppet Movie (Frank Oz)

Really any movie starring the Muppets would work. Again, Frank Oz joins the likes of Jim Henson to create a world where characters like Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear take on Hollywood. If you’re sentimental, this is definitely the movie for you.

The best moment of the movie is actually in the very beginning. Kermit the Frog hooks you in and sings to you and then you never want to leave all your Muppet friends. Or, more importantly, you just want to watch Kermit sing the Rainbow Connection on repeat.

That’s the thing about the Muppet Movie, everyone has their favorite moment and that’s what sticks out to them. Most of us have watched it growing up so there is a special connection we have with these characters and the movie.

Going into it as a new viewer would definitely be an interesting experience since returning to it as an adult still holds that nostalgia. But if you like Kermit the Frog, you’ll be fine either way. It’s a great time and really holds up. Or, as stated before, you can just watch a continual loop of the Rainbow Connection and cry about being a lover and a dreamer.
