Josh Brolin shares his own shock over one of the Infinity War deaths
Josh Brolin has taken over the big screen this summer, and we love it. But one of his roles was Thanos in Infinity War, and we all know how that went.
It feels like it may be the summer of Josh Brolin. The actor seems to be everywhere, in every movie (and even on Netflix). Perhaps one of his biggest roles of the summer, however, is as Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
As the Mad Titan, Brolin played a role that has truly changed the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Thanos was what some consider to be the ultimate bad guy, considering he wiped out half of the universe with the snap of his fingers, it seems that even the actor was surprised at one of the deaths in Avengers: Infinity War.
According to Uproxx, the very same death that spawned memes and fan hysterics is also the death that shocked Josh Brolin. It seems that the actor did not find out about everyone Thanos killed with his snap until the world premiere of Infinity War
It was then that Brolin learned that one of the characters he wiped out of existence was Spider-Man. And he was actually worried about potential backlash.
Josh Brolin said that in the theater he was actually freaking out and saying, “Spider-Man just disintegrated. That’s not OK.” The actor said he even turned towards Chris Hemsworth, who apparently smiled at him and told him, “your career is over.”
While his career being over is an overstatement, it certainly makes sense that Brolin would be a bit concerned. Plus, it is hilarious almost that the villain of the film didn’t know who he destroyed, thanks to the secrecy of Joe and Anthony Russo.
Luckily for Josh Brolin, most people who saw Infinity War actually blame Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord for the Avengers being defeated. His anger over Gamora’s death got the best of him, and if it hadn’t, maybe things would be different.
So perhaps Brolin should send a thank you card Pratt’s way, since Star-Lord seems to be in more trouble than Thanos himself.

Chris Pratt’s social media will forever be changed by Star Lord’s inability to keep his cool under such awful conditions. But for now, it looks as if Josh Brolin may have escaped Infinity War relatively unscathed. Hopefully, we will see the return of Spider-Man in the fourth Avengers‘ movie.
