The second episode of The Silkworm adaptation airs tomorrow night. What can you expect from C.B. Strike Season 2, Episode 2?

“The Silkworm” was the second novel in J.K. Rowling’s Cormoran Strike series. Unlike the first novel, this was only split into two parts for the C.B. Strike series and that second part airs tomorrow night. After finding out that Owen Quine hasn’t just gone missing but it’s another murder for the private detective, it’s time for Strike and Robin to figure out just who is involved.

Quine was working on another novel at the time of his murder. “Bombyx Mori” is full of clues and it’s clear that someone who has been portrayed in this novel is responsible for the death. Now Strike and Robin need to figure out who is involved and why that would be. Is it the wife? The agent? The publishing company? There are so many potential suspects.

It’s not all about the case for Robin and Strike, though. With Matthew breathing down Robin’s neck about the current job, Robin has to decide whether this position is worth it. She’s already made it clear to Matthew that she enjoys the work, but he’s made it very clear that he has no interest in Strike and doesn’t trust him. I’ll be honest in saying that I’ve never liked Matthew and think he’s a controlling man, but what will Robin think by the end of this episode?
