There is one scene in particular from August Osage County that every Benedict Cumberbatch fan needs to see. The play turned into a movie is one of the best of his work. Focusing on the Weston family, Benedict plays Little Charles Aiken, a cousin to the Weston sisters.

The problem? Ivy Weston falls in love with her cousin and since she can’t have kids, she thinks it is fine that they are together. Little Charles is extremely shy and very emotional but there is a wonderful scene between him and Ivy where he is playing a song on the piano for her.

Benedict Cumberbatch may not be the best singer but this song is touching and shows how much Little Charles loves her and while this movie (and play) are absolutely wild, this relationship is weirdly comforting.

Who knew that we’d all truly love seeing two cousins fall in love with one another. That being said, Benedict Cumberbatch has quite the filmography to tackle. Once you’ve seen Sherlock, it is just time to go down the list of amazing performances.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is lucky to have him but Ivy Weston is probably the luckiest for his lovely Little Charles Aiken.
