Jurassic World (Chris Pratt)

Look the Raptors were always supposed to be the bad guys. But Jurassic World not only gave us more attractive Chris Pratt as Owen Grady but it also showed us that we can train them and keep the Raptors as pets.

Which, bad idea. They’re velociraptors. But Blue, Charlie, Delta, and Echo made us fall in love with Owen. He’s their alpha (not really, Blue is definitely the alpha) and they love him, even if they are still wild dinosaurs that humans engineered into existence.

Jurassic World creates a world where we can, seemingly, live among dinosaurs and somehow survive. Not a great message and truly the opposite of what the original trilogy represented but hey, we get hot Chris Pratt fixing a motorcycle and so you win some and then you definitely stare at those muscles.

The best part about this movie is most definitely Blue because she’s just a lovely Velociraptor who would fight any dinosaur for Owen. Later, in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, we get to see a baby Blue and that might be the cutest thing in all the world.

Still, this movie is great for reintroducing the Jurassic Park franchise into the modern age. Just maybe don’t get a Raptor as a pet?
