9. Hulk Smash by Swyattart
Hulk smash, right? Bruce Banner is a character that is so complex that no one can really begin to understand him. Especially with the developments of Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War, Bruce and the Hulk have quite the relationship to work out with one another.
In the beginning, Hulk didn’t want to let Bruce out. Then, he suddenly didn’t want to come out, even when Bruce needed him. Avengers 4 might explore their dynamic a bit more but this artist did something a little different.
The Hulk has had many looks throughout the years. From Lou Ferrigno to Eric Bana and Ed Norton, he’s been all different shades of green. This artist went a little more towards the comics.
A terrible haircut, his very famous shorts — the Hulk here is the one we first met and fell in love with. He’s a strange guy who is slowly learning to use his words and not smash everything in sight. Because, as Thor says, for once in his life, he had to not smash.
Overall though, it is just a nice reminder of where the character came from. He’s had so many looks, going back to this one is fun to think about.
