We’ve taken you to Greece, to the beach, to summer camp, and back to the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s, so now there’s only one more stop for your stay-cation: Europe!

You may not have the money in your savings to actually head on a Europe trip right now, but by watching EuroTrip, you can just see all the mistakes and horrible misadventures of this gang of teens and realize how much better your trip would be. Scotty finds out that his girlfriend has been cheating on him and ends up dumped after high school graduation. He decides on a whim to travel to Berlin to find his penpal, Mieke, who he thought was a guy but turned out to be a beautiful young woman.

Scott heads overseas with his best friend Cooper and twins Jamie and Jenny to have an adventure of a lifetime, but it doesn’t exactly go smoothly. Before they can surprise Mieke in Berlin, they make stops in places like Amsterdam, Rome, and the Vatican. And as expected, they tripped out from eating some “special” brownies (that weren’t really special), encountered a very touchy Italian man on the train, drank some absinthe, and somehow ended up inside the Vatican’s private quarters and accidentally announced the death of the pope.

Like the American Pie series, EuroTrip is one of those raunchy teen movies you can’t help but love. You may not be able to take a trip this summer, but it doesn’t mean you can’t laugh your ass off watching other people have a terrible time as they voyage across Europe. Maybe it’ll make you feel better about staying home watching a movie instead of being in Rome or something.
