25. Khan from Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan

Buzzfeed had a list of some of the best cosplays from New York Comic-Con and obviously, there were a lot of great contenders. This cosplayer proved that the boys aren’t the only ones that get to have the fun. Or more so that a girl can have a pretty awesome Khan cosplay. The villain that haunted James Tiberius Kirk in Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan, he’s pretty recognizable in the Trek fandom.

Now, in Star Trek: Into Darkness, Benedict Cumberbatch took on the role but this cosplayer went back to the original for inspiration (because really, all Benedict Cumberbatch did was wear all black and where is the fun in that?).

Khan is surprisingly not overdone. As one of the main villains to Captain Kirk, it would be a seemingly obvious choice for a cosplay. But with the intricate details of his costume, it isn’t exactly easy to take on. Lucky for us all, this brave lady knew she could do it and gives us one of the coolest Khan looks out there. Including his little ‘pet’ and a pretty spot on wig, this is a great way to start seeing just how creative cosplayers can be when they’re dedicated to their look.
