J.K. Rowling is being inducted into the Museum of Pop Culture’s Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame and she is not going alone.

Ever heard of MoPOP? If you haven’t you will in a minute as J.K. Rowling has been inducted into it alongside comic book legend Stan Lee. The Museum of Pop Culture’s Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame (MoPOP) announced via press release that the Harry Potter author is to be inducted into the exhibition by the end of the year.

Stan Lee, who is best known for being the co-creator of Marvel heroes such as Spider-Man, Black Panther, the X-Men, the Avengers, the list is endless really. Lee has helped create a brand which is one of the most influential in the world, with very few people unfamiliar with some of the comic book heroes.

More from Harry Potter

Rowling on the other hand, may not have created any comic book heroes, has certainly created heroes in her wizarding world franchise. A whole generation has been influenced by Harry Potter and with the books being just as popular, the introduction of the Fantastic Beasts series, and the stage production Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, it would not be surprising if it influenced another generation.

There is also the Cormoroan Strike series she created under the pseudonym, Robert Galbraith. Not as influential as her wizarding world franchise but certainly popular as the books have been adapted to TV which is currently being aired on CINEMAX.
