What would Harry Potter see in the Mirror of Erised now?

The Mirror of Erised is something that many fans have thought about but what would Harry Potter see now?

Many of us have at least read Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, so we know that Harry’s wants and desires have shifted slightly since we first met him. Or better yet, since he looked into the Mirror of Erised.

When Harry first looked into the mirror, he saw himself standing with his parents. He wanted to be with them and the mirror showed him that. The second time, he saw himself with the Sorcerer’s Stone. So as an adult with a family and a son who, seemingly, hates him, would Harry see something different?

More from Harry Potter

To be quite honest, it wouldn’t be surprising if Harry saw himself with his parents still. This time though, his entire family would also be at his side. Maybe he’d see Albus and himself embracing, happy together rather than trying to fight one another.

The main problem with both Harry and Albus is that they are stubborn, two men who are very similar who don’t see how much they are alike. So in this vision, would Harry see Albus differently or would he still be the son he has before him?

Truly, who knows. Maybe that will be the continuation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, he’ll just be staring into the Mirror or Erised and wishing that his family was different. Or maybe he’d want his parents still with him to see how much he’s grown.

We don’t know what Harry Potter would see but we do know that he’d want James and Lily Potter around still to see how wonderful his family truly was.
