Brandi Glanville slaps Lisa Vanderpump – RHOBH
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has a giant Brandi Glanville-shaped hole in it since she left a few seasons ago. Without her, there has been far less drunken antics, immature tantrums, and inappropriate public behavior. It’s kind of a bummer without her.
Back when she was around, she would do anything for a “moment,” including throw wine, make accusations about meth use, and use her years-old divorce to milk sympathy. But the greatest of all her stunts, in my opinion, is the time she slapped Lisa Vanderpump directly in the face.
It’s not quite as dramatic as it sounds, because it started as a funny joke. Brandi, wine-drunk and unpredictably wobbly, teases Lisa about giving her little kiss. Lisa deflects, making light of the situation and desperately trying to de-escalate it. She dodges Brandi’s silly advances, but you can tell Lisa is wildly uncomfortable.
There is some nonsensical banter from Brandi and Lisa jokingly warns her that she is going to slap her if she doesn’t stop. Brandi, a full two feet taller than Lisa, is blocking her way and actually pawing at her a little. All of the sudden, Brandi reaches up and slaps Lisa right in the face. Full palm and everything.
Although Brandi was joking around, it just went too far, and Lisa says as much in her testimonial. At the moment, however, you can see Lisa scolding Brandi like a puppy she’s trying to housebreak, repeating, “no, no,” over and over.
Brandi didn’t make it long after that season as her erratic behavior became too much of a liability for the network. However, if you need your Brandi fix, she has a strong, sometimes salacious, Twitter presence.
