What will happen during Legion’s finale since last week wrapped up so much?

We know that FX ordered an extra episode of Legion so what is going to happen in the season finale now that things had kind of a great ending last week?

Legion is one of those shows where you never know what we’re going to get. The problem is that last week’s episode was a pretty great closing to the season. So what can possibly happen during this week/s finale?

Originally, last week was meant to be the finale and that makes sense. David got a taste of what his “evil” side could achieve and he, seemingly, liked it. So it set up the next season arc beautifully, and we could have suffered through a summer break, anxiously waiting until the third season was underway.

The problem with that is that FX apparently didn’t want to overload the finale and, after the fact, ordered another episode. So what exactly are we in store for this week? Who knows really, especially since there was a nice ending for the season already. Maybe this week’s true finale will explore some of the characters that were seemingly neglected this season.

Or maybe we’ll see David being tempted by his dark nature even more before we head into the third season. Whatever the case may be, it is abundantly clear that last week’s episode should have wrapped up the season and left us on a cliffhanger. Then again, we could still end up with a cliffhanger this week too.
