The funky spunk (“Easy Come, Easy Go”)
If you have a weak stomach, you may want to skip over this memorable Sex and the City moment. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Samantha knows how to please a man. There isn’t much she won’t do in the bedroom, and she always makes sure both she and her partner get off. But of course, she has run into some roadblocks along the way.
There was Mr. Too Big and then there was James (or Mr. Too Small, as we called him), but with her latest lover Adam Ball, it’s not an issue with him being too big or too big but rather too… funky. To quote Sam herself, “I’m dating a guy with the funkiest tasting spunk.” Cue Charlotte storming out.
Samantha is disappointed because he’s an attractive guy and the sex is good, but she just can’t get over the taste. She describes it as sour, like asparagus gone bad and Chlorox. The next time she’s confronted with giving him oral sex, she tries to avoid it. But he doesn’t understand why, so she finally blurts out the truth.
Then he has the audacity to claim that giving a BJ is easy, and Samantha schools him on just how difficult it is — “they don’t call it a job for nothing!” She decides to make a deal with him: if he tastes it, and tolerates it, then she’ll tolerate it.
He agrees, and 10 minutes later he’s tasting his own brand. (Sorry, there’s only so many ways to word this that aren’t disgusting.) He’s clearly disgusted, but he takes it like a man and says he’s fine with it, so Samantha keeps her word.
Okay, you can breathe now. No more funky spunk talk.
