Pottermore’s Wizarding World Book Club says goodbye, but encourages you to keep reading Harry Potter.
For the last 12 months, Pottermore has encouraged old and new Harry Potter fans to delve back into the books again. The Wizarding World Book Club has been a safe space for fans to read the books, find new meanings in the chapters, and explore some difficult and questionable themes. It’s been enjoyable for all, but now Pottermore (and we) must say goodbye.
It feels like Deathly Hallows all over again. This is the end of life as we know it, with Harry Potter constantly in our lives and the ability to discuss the text with friends.

Well, the truth is it really isn’t the complete end. All Pottermore’s articles and discussions during the last 12 months will be available on the site for as long as the site stands. Plus the books are still around.
This is a great chance to delve back into the books yourself and introduced a new fan to the world of the Boy Who Lived. It’s a chance to chat with your friends about the subjects, covering some of the topics that Pottermore may not have done. This is also a good chance to go back through some of the discussions and pick up on other sides of arguments to widen your perspective.
