Lights, Camera, Relationship (Season 6, Episode 5)

Like we said, dating is hard. When you think you find the right guy, it could still end in disaster. And sometimes, if you’re Miranda, the right guy could be right in front of you, and you can’t even do anything about it.

Miranda is struggling with her feelings for Steve. They’re trying to co-parent Brady, but Miranda starts to realize she still loves him. When she goes over to pick up the baby, she somehow winds up making cupcakes for Steve’s girlfriend, which makes her an emotional wreck.

Carrie is dating the infamous Berger (this is pre-Post-It breakup) and starting to realize just how different they are. She brings him shopping at Prada, and he doesn’t understand how anyone could pay that much for clothes. Clearly, he doesn’t know Carrie Bradshaw!

She feels awful when she brags about a big check from her publisher and brings Berger shopping, all while not knowing that Berger was dropped from their publisher. Honestly, that relationship was destined to fail, and fail it did, spectacularly (and it all ended with a Post-It).

Samantha is mad when she finds out “Jerry” the waiter quit his job to do some random play, but when she sees the production for herself and finds out he goes full-frontal on stage, she decides to work her PR magic to make the show, and its star, a hit. And just like that, heartthrob Smith Jerrod was born.

The PR genius gives the waiter a new stage name, and the play becames a huge hit. The crowd is mostly full of women and gay men wanting to get a glimpse of Smith in the buff, but ticket sales are ticket sales!
