J.K. Rowling’s Cormoran Strike novels gained major press almost immediately. Published under her pen name Robert Galbraith, it didn’t take long to find out that she was the real author. Soon Harry Potter fans around the world went in search for “The Cuckoo’s Calling” and it didn’t take long for more books to come out and the series to turn into a TV series.
UK audiences got the series last summer. We’ve had to wait until summer 2018, but it is finally here. And now you’ll definitely not want to miss this first episode live tonight. The good news is you can watch it either on the TV or online with our live streaming options.

C.B. Strike: The Cuckoo’s Calling Part 1
The first novel was turned into three episodes to tell the full story. In the first episode, we’ll get to meet the characters in the story, while setting up the initial storyline. Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott are the two most important people in the series, but do keep an eye out for John Bristow and Tansy. They both play a big role in the full story.
The BBC released this synopsis for the episode.
"Cormoran Strike, an injured war veteran turned P.I., and secretary Robin Ellacott seek the truth surrounding the mysterious death of supermodel Lula Landry."
