Get the Look: Uma Dress in Army Green

Kitty Spencer, niece to the late Princess Diana, also arrived in a gorgeous green dress. She accessorized with possibly our favorite fascinator of the day, created by royal favorite milliner Philip Treacy. The pops of orange in her clutch and heels, matching the orange in the seemingly hand-painted flowers in her dress, also had our eyeballs poppin’.

The floral frock was by the infamous Dolce & Gabbana. They recently dressed celebrities at the Met Gala, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, including favorite Sarah Jessica Parker. More appropriately, the designers are no strangers to glaringly royal designs. Their inspiration has always been very heavy on historical influence. Most notably for us, their fall 2013 RTW collection featured a lot of royal imagery and… crowns! A glamorous, unattainable dream for many of us. But not surprisingly, Kitty is an ambassador for the fashion house, and even walked their runway for the first time last year.

A custom Dolce & Gabbana is clearly not in the cards, so we’ve tracked down an all dark green dress, in one of their typical silhouettes. It even features a Queen Anne neckline — how fitting! We’ll leave you to decorate it as you please: hand-painted flowers, layers of jewels, a tiara — choose your own adventure.
