Jon Dore is no exception to the hilarious Canadian rule. While living in Canada, Jon had his own television show called The Jon Dore Show, which was a massive hit. However, Jon has lived in America since 2008 and has been a hit south of the border. He’s been on How I Met Your Mother, Those Who Can’t, and a ton of Conan episodes.

Jon Dore is one of the riskiest comedians out there. I don’t mean risky as in slightly racist or on the line of misogynistic. No, I mean he takes risks while performing. He once did a late night set where for five minutes, a joke involved a drawing on his chest.

His braveness is in his silliness. Jon’s first Conan appearance was a sight to behold. Since then, he’s appeared on the show multiple times, each time pushing the boundaries of late-night further. He’s incredibly playful on stage. It’s not as if stand-up has rules, yet Jon seems to be able to break these nonexistent rules. For Jon sometimes the punch line is that there is no punch line.

Bonus points: Jon is pretty sexy. We could watch an hour of Jon doing anything. He looks like he chops a lot of firewood, just saying.
