Aparna Nancherla is on the rise to the top. She is quickly becoming one of the biggest names in Comedy. Rolling Stone named her one of the “50 Funniest People Right Now.” There’s honestly no need for us to put her on this list because she will undoubtedly have a Netflix special within the year. 

You may recognize Aparna from season 2 of the Netflix series The Standups.

The obvious next step is for Netflix to give her an hour special. Aparna is on Bojack Horseman, Comedy Central’s show Corporate and has multiple television appearances. Furthermore, Aparna is hilarious to follow on Twitter. Her stand up is innovative, but her jokes on Twitter are mind-blowing.

Aparna’s stand up is perfectly crafted, and she’s incredibly likable on and off stage. 

Aparna is based in New York, but like everyone else on this list, she is always on tour. You can also purchase her debut album, Just Putting it Out There, which was released in 2016 on Tig Notaro’s record label.

Aparna also co-hosted the 2018 NYC Women’s March, which makes her one of the coolest female comedians ever.
