The revamped Queer Eye Netflix series is the TV show we all needed. I can’t get through a single episode without crying. I swear the show has healing properties, it’s like drinking bone broth, filling you with nourishment. There is so much to take away from Queer Eye. On top of the show being incredibly influential and vital to our society. It’s also hilarious. This is in big part thanks to Jonathan Van Ness and his priceless quips.
Van Ness, the comical hairdresser from LA who gives us all sorts of vibes, is a queen. He has some of the most iconic quotes on the show. One of my personal favorite Van Ness quotes is “Yas symmetry. Yes, balance.” It has easily become a fan favorite quote because many companies have mad shirts with the phrase. The reason why I’ve chosen this shirt from BlinkPrintShop is that they sell it in both black or white, and who wouldn’t want both.
Van Ness’ humor can be appreciated by everyone. If you want to see more of him aside from Netflix, he performs around Los Angeles at various comedy clubs and will be performing in New York this summer.
