Coat of arms stars Meghan Markle’s husband Prince Harry and her communications skills
Royal tradition calls for wives’ coat of arms to feature one symbol related to their husbands and one linked to themselves. Meghan has become known for her desire to communicate with the public. Her symbol is a songbird, wings lifted to fly with an open beak that emphasizes communication. A quill adds to the focus on communication.
The symbols for husband and wife are known as supporters. While Meghan has the songbird as her supporter, Prince Harry is symbolized with a lion and a crown.
